Thalia Bee  was launched from the J.K. Farrow shipyard in Seattle in 1931. For over 84 years she served the four owners and their families, travelling throughout the San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands and up to Desolation Sound. To all of her caretakers, Thalia Bee has proved to be the perfect summer residence for mesmerizing journeys around the Pacific Northwest, family reunions, parties, and relaxing family holidays. For the State of Washington and now the Province of British Columbia , she is a majestic symbol of the wooden boat age and a proud ambassador.
