We had a lovely time on the Thalia Bee! It is a boat, so you have to do boaty things to keep everything running, but that was half the fun. We’d definitely return!

We had a cracking stay on this private Rum Runner! The host was excellent and the evening visits from the local harbour seals while BBQing on the back of the boat were a welcome addition

We loved our weekend on Nicholas’ boat. It was a sweet, cozy home base for exploring the area. We even set some crab puts and had a wonderful crab dinner aboard one night. Thanks fro making such a lovely experience available Nicholas.

We had a terrific weekend stay for a birthday weekend. Nicolas welcomed us and provided much information on activities in the area. It is a fun experience in a nice, quiet location. The restaurant at the marina, steps away, is nice. We kayaked right out of there also.

What Jamie loved about your listing:
We had a terrific time.

It was a great pleasure to stay aboard this beautiful piece of history. Nicholas is a charming and thoughtful host who anticipated the needs of our family and tailored some unexpected perks to our visit. We arrived to meet up with Nicholas for a thorough tour and orientation to the boat. There were a number of extras such as food and drinks stocked aboard for our use. A helpful suggestion and a loaned piece of kit started our son off on hours of entertainment which he is still raving about. I have a Canadian recreational boating license and obtained a BC crab license (can be printed at the public library a few kilometers away) and after a quick check out, had the use of Nicholas’ small runabout and a crab trap. We dropped the trap in an area he suggested and took the runabout for a tour of some small, nearby islands and upon our return had enough Dungeness crab for dinner! Accommodations were clean and comfortable with beautiful views from the top deck of the boat. We spent two nights and only wish we had stayed longer.
